Last holiday season, we supported the construction of a water well in a Mali Africa, enabling us to FORTIFY AND REPLENISH an entire third-world community with the life-saving gift of access to clean, safe water. The positive feedback received from our partners for this initiative compelled us to embrace shared giving again this season with a FINISH AND PROTECT focus that is close to home.

Committed to helping low-income families caught in the vicious cycle of poverty

Everyone in Canada has the right to a safe, affordable and decent place to live in – yet so many families do not have that. That’s why we have chosen to sponsor Habitat For Humanity Canada to help bring strength, stability and self-reliance to families in need of a safe and decent place to live.

Our partnership donation of $25,000 directly supports the Carter Work Project, helping to build a more caring nation through volunteering – where neighbours help neighbours build homes that provide a safe and affordable foundation for a better life.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn are coming to Canada in 2017 for Habitat for Humanity’s 34th Carter Work Project, to help build 150 homes for Canada’s 150th anniversary – Habitat Canada’s biggest build project ever!

Carter Work Project efforts will focus on a country-wide effort, with over 40 communities in every province and territory in Canada, including Edmonton, Alberta (Stogryn’s home town) – helping reach the goal of building 150 homes.

By supporting Habitat for Humanity Canada, we are not just providing the bricks and mortar to build a house; we’re giving Canadian families the hand up they need to build a better life. The impact is immediate; the effects everlasting.
