NOT EVERYTHING GOES HOW YOU WANT IT TO

Sometimes not everything goes quite how you expect. I’ve been hairdressing for 16 years and I very rarely have something not go how I want it to.
But if this does happen I have always thought it’s really important to address it and not hide from it.
Your clients will always appreciate your honesty, it’s how they trust you.

Last week I used in my new colour range what I thought was going to lift to where I wanted it.
Cut it short, it didn’t.
So I spent time trying to re-tone to counteract the warmth, not achieving the blend or coolness I was looking for.

I went away and reflected on what I did and what I could of done differently. Messaging my client and asking if she would be happy for me to redo it the week after.

Thank the lord she was!

I love my clients that trust me and understand that sometimes things don’t go right. You guys are the best.
